Hazardous Beach

This sandy path at Fort Macon State Park, near Atlantic Beach, NC, leads to the Bogue Inlet, a narrow stretch of water with a calm surface and dangerous, swift currents below. I enjoy that tension between breezy, carefree sunshine and dark and dangerous water. The large 30″ x 40″ size will make a statement no matter where you choose to hang it.
