Plein air in the very challenging environment of southern Utah. Most days there was howling wind and haze from smoke and dust. I grabbed the opportunity to paint in a sheltered spot near the San Juan River.

@masonfromblendini, I saw this beautiful building, unfortunately unoccupied, in Memphis and thought how much you’d appreciate the beautiful colors and intricate decorations. It had been a Kress five and dime, though I don’t know if that was the original owner. I hope it finds a new purpose soon.
